I.                     GRADE STRUCTURE

A.                 Grading Sources 

1.                   40% - Notebook

2.                   30% - Tests (weeks # 7-Oct.15th and #14-Dec.17th)

3.                   20% - Memory Work

a.                   Memory verse quizzes on weeks #3,5,7,9,11 & 13

b.                   Memory verses:  Deuteronomy 4:2; 2Samuel 23:2; Psalm 12:6,7; 100:5; 111:7,8; 119:89,152,160; 138:2; Proverbs 22:21; 30:5,6; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:18; 24:35; John 10:35; 17:17; 1Corinthians 2:13; 2Corinthians 2:17; 4:2; 1Thessalonians 2:13; 2Timothy 2:15; 3:16; Hebrews 4:12; 1Peter 1:23,24,25; 2Peter 1:21 (30 in all)

c.                   You choose which and how many verses you memorize for each quiz.  The first 10 you learn are worth 6 points each; the second 10 are worth 3 point each; the third 10 are 1 point each.

4.                   10% - Reading

B.                 Grading Scale 

1.         A is 95-100

2.                   B is 87-94

3.                   C is 76-86

4.                   D is 70-75

5.                   F is 69 and below 

C.                 Points Lost For Absences or Tardies 

1.                   1 Absence = -1

2.                   2 Absences = -3

3.                   3 Absences = -6

4.                   4 Absences = -10 (& must be excused)

5.                   4 Absences = No credit for course 

II.                   INTRODUCTORY COMMENTS

A.                 Bibliology – the study of the Bible as a doctrinal subject 

1.                   Alongside of Theology Proper, Christology, Pneumatology, Angelology, Anthropology, Hamartiology, Soteriology, Ecclesiology & Eschatology.

2.                   Deals with the Revelation, Inspiration, Preservation & Illumination of God’s Word. 

B.                 Purpose of the Course 

1.                   To increase your faith in God’s Word

2.                   To give you a Biblical and practical understanding of how God gave His Word to man

3.                   To prepare you to answer those critics who would attack the Word of God (1Peter 3:15

III.                  Personal Testimony 

A.                 Salvation and Family Stand

B.                 College and Disbelief

C.                 Getting God’s Word Back
