The Focus of the Music Ministry

The New Testament emphasizes the singing of the believer, not the performance of an artist. For this reason, as well as others, we put our  emphasis on congregational music. Special music has its place in our services as well, but God wants to hear all His children sing praises to Him.

The Setup of the Music Ministry

• Categories of Songs
  • Psalms.  Psalms are God's words (usually from the Psalms but not always) put to music.
  • Hymns.  Hymns are formal expressions of praise or declarations of God's truth.
  • Spiritual songs.  Spiritual songs are songs that deal with the spiritual life and are the most personal of the songs.
