INTRODUCTION: Our lives have become one
continuous stream of activity, communication and information input. Sometimes,
two or three of these are occurring at the same time. We deal with duties,
expectations, and deadlines, all conflicting with little things that
we desire to do on our own. Our mind becomes a jumble. We may even lose
the ability to focus on the task at hand because we are dealing with
a dozen additional things in our minds as we work. Sleep comes hard and
leaves filling like we were wrestling all night. We come to the end of
ourselves. How did we get in this fix? What are we to do now? What is
God’s way through this mess?
