The Importance of Teaching

Its Emphasis

      1. The responsibility of a teacher is to instruct the students (Proverbs 5:13).
      2. By defining three words connected to teaching, we can gain an idea of the goal of teaching.
        1. Inform - to place a form or shape within somone (Romans 6:17; 2 Timothy 1:13)
        2. Instruct – to place a structure or order within someone
        3. Edify – to build up; connected to the word edifice which is a building
