I.     THE DANGER WAS KNOWN (Mark 9:43-48) 

II.   THE WARNING WAS GIVEN 

A.   Warned of the Wrath to Come (Luke 3:7-9) 

B.   Distinguished by their Response (Exodus 9:18-26) 

III.  EXCUSES WERE MADE (Luke 14:15-21) 

A.   I Cannot Go – But Provision Has Been Made (1Timothy 1:15-16) 

B.   I Do Not Believe – Build on the Faith you Have (Mark 9:24; Galatians 2:16) 

C.   I Can Stand On My Own – No Man Can Stand On His Own (1Corinthians 10:12) 

D.   It Is Not Convenient – Now Is the Day of Salvation (2Corinthians 6:2; Acts 24:25) 

IV.  THE PRICE WAS PAID (Hebrews 10:26-31)
