Paul speaks of his desire to preach the gospel as a debtor to all men. He also speaks of the responsibility of all men to respond to the revelation given to them.

Paul begins his letter to the Romans with a declaration about the gospel. Then, after sending his greetings to the Romans, he tells them of his desire to visit them and be a blessing to them.

The ship upon which Paul is sailing is lost, but all in the ship are saved just as God had revealed through the Apostle Paul.

In this passage, Paul is being transported as a prisoner from Caesarea to Rome. However, the ship on which he is sailing meets with trouble on the way.

Festus, as the new Roman governor in Caesarea, must deal with the imprisoned Paul and the false accusations against him by the Jews in Jerusalem. Paul appeals to Caesar and Festus asks King Agrippa to help him find charges to lay against Paul.
