God is particularly interested in what is going on within the heart of man. Specifically, He seeks for, and desires to find, TRUTH.
It is imperative that men speak the truth, for “he that speaketh the truth sheweth forth righteousness,” and his lip “shall be established for ever.”
It is a misconception that truth and love conflict and thus one always overshadows the other. Truly, God calls us to live by and demonstrate both.
When men choose to reject the truth, God tends to withhold further truth from them. The result is spiritual and intellectual darkness.
After Christ removes the church, He will establish the time of Jacob’s trouble. After this, Christ will return as a thief in the night to make up His jewels.
No man is to be respected above another person in a form of unrighteous judgment. However, does not infer nondiscrimination in every matter.
In establishing His covenant with Israel, God promised them He would have respect unto them, make them fruitful, and multiply them.
Each believer will, at some point, be confronted with the conflicting choice to obey God rather than to obey men’s anti-scriptural precepts.
Any country led by men who understand the biblical role of government would enjoy a supernatural blessing experienced only by those following the will of God.
There are times when we attempt to do the right thing only to have our motive judged as impure. In such times, we can learn much from David's example.
