Now let us consider what is most properly called Spirit baptism. The Bible does not talk as much about this one. However, it is a Bible doctrine. At the point of salvation the Holy Spirit places us into Jesus Christ. When a soul trusts in Christ and is saved, he or she is “in Christ.”
In what ways does God work in our lives to make us what we ought to be? What are some examples in your life where God used gentleness with you when He could have been much harsher?
Who are you trusting in? A careful examination of this could show you that your trust is in you. How many blessings do we miss because our trust is in the wrong person?
