When the Ephesians believed on Christ, they examined the moral nature of each aspect of their lives. This led them to burn their curious arts books.
Most men would rather accept lies than to believe the truth. This bias against the truth has been present as far back as the garden of Eden.
Man has ignored, rejected, and despised the truth on every front. Yet, God, in His faithfulness, continues to show His truth to every generation.
Men could know the truth if they desired to know it. Sadly, most men refuse to pursue and know the truth made so readily available unto them.
Change often results in fear. As such, it must be met with strength. Failure to do so can breed panic that only God's strength can overcome.
Man must spend his strength on things that matter. In doing so, we must focus our efforts upon the right things while working through and by God's power.
In every way, God is greater than man. A man would have to be a thief to claim equality with God. Yet, Christ thought it not robbery to be equal with God.
Any honest person, however, would have to confess that God hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
The Bible does not always paint man in a positive light, yet it always paints him accurately. According to scripture, there is no man that sinneth not.
No man is to be respected above another person in a form of unrighteous judgment. However, does not infer nondiscrimination in every matter.
