The New Jerusalem is said to be the mother of us all. That is, the New Jerusalem is compared to a mother. On this Mother’s Day, it will be good to see the ways in which the New Jerusalem is an example of a good mother.

Not only was this a great blessing to those in the Old Testament, but in Christ we have a refuge that far exceeds the benefits of the cities of refuge.
