The tree is mentioned three times in the Garden of Eden, but it is lost because of the fall of man. However, it is mentioned three times in the New Jerusalem as restored to its rightful place in the midst of paradise. In John 15, were likened to branches shooting forth from the vine. This vine represents the Lord Jesus. God is the husbandman and He cares for the fruitfulness of the branches. What would He find should He come today?
