What about those who have never heard the gospel? Will they be held accountable before God?
<em>General revelation</em> is God’s revelation of truth to all men at all times. It comes through means such as circumstances (or God’s providential working in the affairs of men), conscience (the inner knowledge of men), and creation. <em>Special revelation</em> is God’s revelation to special or particular people at special or particular times (Hebrews 1:1).
The queen of Sheba did not believe the words she had heard about Solomon and the glory of his reign until she had seen it for herself. This supports the truth of the old saying: seeing is believing. But does it?
The saints are told three times to “fret not” (Psalm 37:1,7-8). <em>Fret</em> comes from a root word meaning <em>to eat</em> or <em>to devour</em>. We will find that Jesus Christ is the only solution to the disease of a fretting heart.
At the Feast of Pentecost there was to be offered a new meat offering. The new meat offering was like other meat offerings in most regards. There was, however, to be one major difference. The new meat offering was to be offered with leaven. Leaven, the type of sin, was to be included. Why?
