The life of Paul is an example to us all
Although the burnt offering is a picture of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, it is also a picture of the believer who gives himself unto the Lord. Follow the story of the rebellion and punishment of the nation of Israel as if they represented one person.
In this chapter, we see the call of Jeremiah. He complains that he is just a child and therefore too young to do such a great work. Jeremiah served as a prophet for the Lord to Judah for over 40 years. He wrote the 52 chapters of Jeremiah and the five chapters of Lamentations.
