A verse by verse outline of Romans 5:1-11. The first three chapters declared all under sin. Chapter 4 presented the fact that justification is by faith so along comes chapter 5 that tells you the person that brings justification.
Jesus Christ is our living example for the godly life. We are to walk like Him. But we are also to allow Him to live in us and through us.
Our lives have become one continuous stream of activity, communication and information input. We come to the end of ourselves. How did we get in this fix? What are we to do now? What is God’s way through this mess?
The <em>dayspring</em> is the spring of the day; that is, the morning. This passage reveals some of the scientific details about this phenomenon. However, the dayspring is also a type of Jesus Christ, as revealed in the only other place in the Bible where the word occurs – Luke 1:78.
This Psalm speaks of the presence of the knowledge of God wherever we go. No matter where we find ourselves, we will find that God is “even there”.
