Psalm 119 is the longest psalm and the longest chapter in the Bible. It contains 176 verses. The central theme of this psalm is the word of God. At least 173 of the 176 verses mention the Bible by some title or another.
Amaziah gave to the Lord a mixed level of devotion. In turn, he received a mixed level of blessing. God wants our whole heart. He is not willing to share the throne with other gods.
David’s final charge to Solomon consists of faithfulness to the commandments, judgments, and testimonies of the Lord
Moses is dead. Joshua must accept the fact and take his role as leader of the Israelites.
David has already been anointed to be the next king, but the road to the throne will be a slow and painful one. However, God’s will prevails and David will be king in the end.
