One of the most powerful biblical pictures of Jesus Christ is as our Shepherd. Here in Psalm 23, we see Him as the Good Shepherd who cares for the sheep.
The Levitical sacrificial system had five separate and distinct offerings that could be made to the Lord.
It is not enough that the offering is brought; it must be acceptable to God. God must receive it.
In the Bible we find that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Body, which is the Church. If that is true then we ought to be able to look at the characteristics of the head in scripture and find that it points to some characteristics of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let’s take a look at some of these and see if we can see Jesus.

God gives him favor with the king of Persia and he organizes a successful return to the land of promise.
