Labouring for God 101

Introduction:  We understand very little about our labour for the Lord.  We try so hard to accomplish the impossible in the flesh only to make ourselves weary in the work.  May we learn to labour for the Lord, but according to truth.

      1. The worker is nothing (1 Corinthians 3:7)
      2. The worker has nothing to boast of (1 Corinthians 4:7; 1 Corinthians 1:26-29)

      1. Individuals rewarded every man
      2. Rewards according to labour not results

      1. Our assignments are given to us of the grace of God
      2. Disappointment with an assignment is frustration with Gods appointment
    3. Gods Responsibility in the Labour (1 Corinthians 3:7, 9)
      1. God gives the increase
      2. God uses the weapons of His choice but He does the work (1 Corinthians 1:26-29)

Conclusion:  Are you frustrated because you are seeing no results?  Are you growing weary trying to force things to happen?  Are you dissatisfied being a planter or a waterer?  Why not yield your services unto God and leave the miraculous in His hands?
