Questions and Answers

I recently heard a preacher (who believed in a post-trib rapture) say that since 1 Corinthians 15:52 says we are raptured at the "last trump, for the trumpet shall sound" and that the last trump doesn't sound until Revelation 11:15 and that there cannot be 2 last trumpets that the rapture must occur at the end of the great tribulation. I have tried to study this out for myself but I know I'm missing something and I would appreciate any insight you can give me on this.
Is Jesus God?
Why is it important for a Christian to believe that the Bible is divinely inspired?
I am not questioning the existence of God, but what I don't understand is why Christians say God is self-existent, eternal, spirit and trinitarian? What scriptures support this claim?
Is the rapture of the church a doctrine of demons? I am quite confused on the pre-tribulation, post-tribulation and no rapture.
Could you help me refute the teaching of soul sleep?
My understanding of the day of the Lord as referred to in the Bible with the end times starts after the rapture. These verses suggest that the Day of the Lord starts with different periods in respect to the rapture. Joel  3:31, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-5 and Isaiah 13:9. Can you please explain these verses to me as to when exactly the day of the Lord begins?
