Can you please explain 1 John 5:16. This verse confuses me. I have heard several explanations, but they don't quite make sense. examples-do not pray for those unreceptive to the Gospel, but the wording of the last sentence implies that you don't have to, not don't. What do you think about it?
I would like to have some insight on the subject once in grace
always in grace. Me and some of my buddies have been discussing it and I am not sure I understand it.

I believe in eternal security. However, a co-worker recently presented me with the following scriptures and asked me to explain eternal security with these in mind. Hebrews 6:4-12 and 10:26; 2 Peter 2:20-22 and 3:14-17 What is your viewpoint?
In Hebrews 9:26 Paul (or whoever may be writing) said that Christ had appeared "once "IN THE END OF THE WORLD" to atone for sins. How can it be the "end of the world" when it happened almost 2,000 years ago (considering that this world is only 6,000 plus years old)?
