Will we actually recognize our friends and relations who have accepted Christ and died before us on this earth. I am not sure of the biblical teaching on this point, I have asked several people and have got differing answers.

Why do some use the term Holy Ghost, which sounds like a ghost, rather than God the Holy Spirit?
What is the meaning of "whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."?
What is the significance in believing in the Son? Is it not sufficient to believe in a loving and merciful Creator only?
