In Psalm 40:6 we read, "Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required."
Will we actually recognize our friends and relations who have accepted Christ and died before us on this earth. I am not sure of the biblical teaching on this point, I have asked several people and have got differing answers.
Will those who are married here still be married in Heaven and know each other as Husband and Wife? I don't believe that Matthew 22:30, Mark 12:25 and Luke 20:34-35 are teaching that marriage ends here, because marriage was ordained by God for man and woman forever.
Our ladies are doing a book study and the other day the book stated that the great cloud of witnesses were watching us. I disagreed. The believers of the past that have died don't watch us --just inspire us to stand firm in our faith, right? I need scripture references if anyone other than God watches us from heaven.
Just today I saw one article of Christian author saying that all sort of necklaces, ear rings, lip stick, etc. is sinful yet I remember seeing another article where it was saying that the bride was adorned while marrying. Could you please provide Biblical verses and wholesome comments?
