Questions and Answers

My question is, why do people call the Bible the Word of God when it is clearly a name given to Jesus? If you read the Bible believing that the Bible is the Word of God it gives you a very different message from reading it with the understanding that Jesus being the Word of God.
To whom am I supposed to pray? My dad was a Mormon, my older sister used to be Pentecostal but is now Lutheran, and one of my friends is Jehovah Witness. They caused a great confusion for me. Also I have been reading the NIV. I do believe in Jesus and that he died for our sins. I am not confused about the trinity, in fact, I believe in it, but who am I suppose to pray if I want to repent and be saved - our heavenly Father or Jesus? or does it make any difference?
Are tongues for today?  Are they unknown or known tongues and what is the meaning of angelic tongues?  Can you explain 1 Corinthians 14 to me; this is the chapter that my relatives say proves that speaking in tongues is for today.
How do you define sin nature? I believe in the concept of original sin inherited from Adam, but recently I was told that sin is actually in our blood. I have believed that sin is in our nature, but I'd never thought of it as actually being in our blood.
Romans 1:28 says, "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;" My conclusion has been that God gave them over to a reprobate mind for the destruction of the flesh. What is your thought here?
