Should Christians suffer?
Are the old man and the flesh one and the same? We read the old man has been crucified with Christ, and that we are to mortify the flesh. I'm confused.
Romans 14:21 says, "It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor so anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak", so if one of my Christian buddies is doing something that causes me to stumble then they should stop? And if they don't, what will be their consequences?
For the past 5 years my Husband & I have been overwhelmed with trials. We are trying to stay strong & praise God for Making us stronger Thru Trials. The weak side of me says are we being punished for something? How does one know. What do we do but pray, pray, pray read Job and Psalms?
What lessons can we learn about worship today based on these warnings and commands about worship in Old Testament times in Ecclesiastes 5:1-7?
When non-christians ask us how we know that what we believe in is the truth, and how do we prove it, how do we answer that question?
Please explain how to tell a boss that claims to be a Christian but is not treating you fairly for years that you have a lot more to give his company. I already run a lot of the jobs and take extra pride in the work. My fellow workers also like me. He just keeps giving me bad jobs now and my fellow workers have even approached me about it. They are good people and care about me. My Boss says he's a Christian but his actions don't show it.
